About the Trip

Renowned actor Hershey Felder hosted a fundraising trip to Rome, Florence, and Venice for TheatreWorks Silicon Valley in November, 2024. My wife, Barbara, and I joined Felder and his team, TheatreWorks staff, and 30-some other TheatreWorks supporters on the trip.

Special highlights of the trip included private time for our group at the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, a tour of the Santa Croce Basillica by the former curator of the artifacts in the basillica, private salon concerts be pianist Boris Giltburg and Linda Purl, and an impromptu performance with Felder and Jonathan Silvestri from Felder's upcoming play Rachmaninoff and the Tsar.

We sandwiched the tour with visits to friends in Nantes, France and Merdingen, Germany.
